Resumen

This work was carried out taking into account the importance of the low weight associated with anemia in children under 5 years of age in this health home, since it is of the utmost importance, because it influences the normal development of children in which does not help them to perform daily. Hemoglobin is a protein that helps red blood cells transport oxygen from the lungs to the rest of the body, so people with anemia do not have enough hemoglobin. The body needs certain vitamins to produce red blood cells. Vitamin B12, iron and folic acid are the most important, and are causes that can trigger anemia at any age and sex, accompanied by blood loss, not producing enough red blood cells or being destroyed at high speed.
